controlbar UI not scaling correctly in samples

The controlbar UI in these examples

does not scale correctly in either direct embed mode or fullscreen. The progress bar has insufficient width and the thumbnail images are miss-positioned. This is reproducible on both Chrome, Firefox and Safari on Mac OSX.

Note the controlbar UI on the reference player at http://reference.dashif.org/dash.js/v2.6.8/samples/dash-if-reference-player/index.html does scale and display correctly under those same browsers.
