There is no change that has to be done to configuration file or database structure comparing with the previous releases of the v5.4 branch. Important note: 5.4.9 is last release in 5.4.x series, marking the end of official maintenance for branch 5.4. Therefore it is highly recommended to upgrade as soon as possible to a release series that is currently maintained, respectively 5.6.x or 5.5.x.
