2.6.5 Broke playback for some videos
Created by: dpieri
This doesn't happen for all videos. It happens for all videos generated by my transcoding process, but not for the Big Buck Bunny example.
Environment
-
The MPD passes the DASH-IF Conformance Tool on http://dashif.org/conformance.html -
The stream has correct Access-Control-Allow-Origin headers (CORS) -
There are no network errors such as 404s in the browser console when trying to play the stream -
The issue observed is not mentioned on https://github.com/Dash-Industry-Forum/dash.js/wiki/FAQ -
The issue occurs in the latest reference client on http://reference.dashif.org/dash.js/ and not just on my page
- Link to playable MPD file: https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/hm-dash-test/5a74d0a323454abaae087a86/playlist.mpd
- Dash.js version: 2.6.5, 2.6.6
- Browser name/version: Chrome, Safari
- OS name/version: OS X
Steps to reproduce
- Play or autoplay a video. Here's a codepen.
- Downgrade player to 2.6.4 and it plays.
Observed behaviour
Video does not play
